Sofi Langis is an award-winning documentary storyteller, writer, and editor whose work merges creative research with investigative practice. Her fieldwork has taken her from the eastern Balkans and Ukraine to Palestine, West Africa, and the foothills of Burma—following the ways people endure and adapt amid conflict, economic forces, migration, and ecological upheaval. Grounded in artistic research and an interdisciplinary approach, her practice rethinks how stories rooted in lived experience and fact-based inquiry are shaped, told, and shared across media.
